Anglo Saxon village trip.
Wrens class visited West Stow Ango-Saxon village. We first visited the museum to look at many artefacts that had been excavated at the site. There were also a number of original items that we were able to handle to look at in more detail, including a piece of pottery and a Roman roof tile that we then used as a hearth tile in an Anglo-Saxon house. After lunch, we explored the village looking in the different buildings imagining what life would have been like at the time of the Anglo-Saxons.
