Ancient Egypt Day 2025

Wrens class stepped back in time to ancient Egypt! We were all fabulously dressed as pharaohs, queens, mummies, cats and a few archaeologists, including Howard Carter. When we arrived at school, we learnt that the pharaoh Tutankhamun had just died and we sprung into action getting everything ready for his burial. We constructed pyramids from card so he would have somewhere to be laid to rest. We then designed a royal seal to seal up his tomb, wrote his book of the dead on papyrus paper and then mummified him. He was finally placed in his burial chamber with some of his belongings.
